Moseley Community Development Trust is working to support creative people in Moseley and to make Moseley better known as a creative village.

Moseley has a host of creative people and businesses covering areas such as film, television, radio, digital media, theatre, music, writing, art, fashion, jewellery and crafts. Moseley Community Development Trust will be using the Moseley Directory to promote our local talent.

Moseley Creative Village

Moseley is a creative neighbourhood in Birmingham and is the natural home to many people working in the creative industries.

After consultation with local creative people Moseley CDT developed the following initiatives to support ‘creatives’ in Moseley. (For the full story on the Creative Village click here).

Moseley Creative Forum

A great place for creative people in Moseley to meet. The forum meets quarterly in the evening and aims to inform local creative people about support and opportunities that can help them to pursue their creative endeavours, whilst also providing an insight into different creative fields.

Moseley Arts Stalls

Original pieces by local designer-makers and craftspeople. The arts stalls are run by Moseley CDT alongside the Farmer’s Market in the centre of Moseley village on the fourth Saturday of every month. Designer-makers can book a stall here

The Moseley Exchange

Moseley CDT has a vision - for Moseley to be a creative neighbourhood, valued and sustained by its community. A key part of the strategy is the development of the CDT premises in the heart of the village as The Moseley Exchange – a unique third space between home and work for local enterprises to meet, network and collaborate.
